Refreshment for the Soul
After listening to "Of Light" I found myself feeling surprisingly refreshed. It was as if my mind had been in a meditative state the whole time. A soulful thirst that I didn't know I had, had been quenched. Music that can do that is something special. Menka B.

If you like ambient, spiritual music, I'd suggest putting this to your ear. Quereshi plays a lot of festivals for this genre in the Midwest. I gave this a 4 star because it's so difficult to duplicate live, but as a CD, I don't feel you'll find a better, more skillfully constructed representation. Gorgeous, original music from a multi-faceted artist
I caught one of Michelle's live, local performances and was captivated by her music. Of Light is the perfect accompaniment for meditation and yoga. I find myself reaching for it on the drive home from work, while sitting at my son's soccer practice, or as I am preparing dinner. Of Light soothes my state of mind and transports me to a calm, restored place. Each piece flows into the next, and whether I'm practicing yoga or listening for pleasure, I become completely absorbed in Michelle's lovely compositions.
You must check out Michelle's website to appreciate the depth of her talent. Not only does she play beautifully, she writes and produces pieces categorized as New Age, classical guitar, World, electronic, Jazz and Bluegrass.
